He shares his journey from biblical scholar to Pastor Theologian, reflecting on vocational discernment, transitioning away from academia, and finding a home in the Anglican tradition.

Brad Embry (PhD, Old Testament, Durham University) serves as a pastor of Missions and Outreach. Brad served for nearly 15 years as an educator at several Christian universities, teaching Old Testament studies. His current interests include spiritual formation, prayer, and the arts (especially poetry), and he is working on writing projects related to Reformer ecclesiology, the theology of work, and utilizing Old Testament narratives for spiritual formation. He is a member of the Sons of the Holy Cross and is St Hildegard fellow with the Center for Pastor Theologians.
